I've been looking for this desk for a decade. Back in 2013, I wanted a standing desk, but the options were pretty limited. And even though I wanted an option to stand while working, I also wanted the option to sit, as well. Back then, that basically meant having 2 desks (one standing, one sitting) and you probably had to make the standing desk yourself.Fast forward a few years and you could find standing desks, but they were often over $1,000, so I continued with my less-than-ideal arrangement of having both a sitting desk and a standing desk. Now, it appears with Covid and the rise of Work-From-Home (WFH), there are literally hundreds of affordable standing desk options out there.VIVO is one of the best IMO. I went with them for a few reasons:(*) Good reviews,(*) Liked the designs, and(*) I already own a VIVO standing desk attachment (converting a regular desk to standing desk)I'm very happy with my other VIVO product and decided to go with them a full standing/sitting desk. And I don't regret it at all. At $300'ish, this is still a great bargain! I'm absolutely loving this desk; best I've ever owned in my life. The only negative I will say with this desk: if you're not skilled / experienced with putting together furniture, it could be difficult to assemble. The assembly instructions weren't great and my biggest complaint is that it doesn't really give you any guide on how long the desk should be to properly align the holes between the desk top and the support structure. I had to re-do everything a 2nd time to try to get them closer and I still just ended up drilling holes myself on one end. So if you have the proper tools (electric screwdriver or drill) and you know what you're doing, this should be no big issue, but if you don't, I could see it potentially giving some people some problems. All that said, once you get it put together, it's fantastic. The material qualities appear to be good. We'll see how it holds up after a few years, but after 2 weeks, it's 5 stars for me. But VIVO, if you're reading, do make the instructions for assembly a little better, because that's probably where most of your negative reviews will come from.
