If this were really made of Cherry, it would cost more than my car. But for the price, it's a great close second. Just use WOOD GLUE as you put it together, to prevent the connections from slipping out of place. It's sturdy enough as a desk, but I wouldn't suggest doing the secretary on it unless you take pride in breaking furniture during rough intercourse.
